National
Australian Gym For Life Challenge
If you love to perform with your friends and want to see what others from around Australia can do, the Australian Gym For Life Challenge is the festival event for you.
Based on the FIG's World Gym for Life Challenge, the Australian Gym For Life is a display contest for teams. All contest performances are evaluated according to the criteria: entertainment; innovation and variety; skill safety and technique; overall presentation. So it's just as important to engage the audience as it is to show quality skills. After the contest, teams are ranked according to their score and awarded gold, silver or bronze. Teams perform again in the Gym For Life Gala for the opportunity to be named: Australian Gym For Life Champion Team.
The Australian Gym For Life Challenge is held every year in conjunction with the National Clubs Carnival (click here). It is an all-inclusive event kicking off with an opening ceremony followed by outdoor performances, the contest, workshops, gala and a dance party.
State Display Events
Display teams are encouraged to perform in display events in other States around Australia. Please contact individual
State Associations for further details on how to enter their event.
