The last Team Future Camp of the year has just wrapped up in Canberra.

Valeria Vatkina and Krasi Yurukova, under the guidance of Team Future Coach Katie Sigsworth, helped developed 38 athletes and 12 coaches from around the country.

Invitations to the camp were based on technical development, but a key part of each camp is identifying those with the physical capacity to succeed at the highest levels.

Testing was conducted and the testing champions were:

Throwing – Polly Dean-Jones (Prahran Rhythmic Gymnastics, VIC)
Flexiblity – Kaylee Kua (Le Ray Gymnastics, NSW) and Katrina Lai (Avanti Gymnastics, NSW)
Physical – Rachael Tougher (Le Ray Gymnastics, NSW)
Balance – Georgia Chin (Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy, WA)

Thanks especially to Danni Prince who came and spent some time with the girls. There were many selfies and autographs to be had, as well as an hour long presentation on the ups and downs of her Olympic journey.

Please keep an eye on the Pathways Activity Schedule  for information about next year's schedule.
