After coming first in the All-Around final for Level 10 in the 2014 Nationals, Trentan Wan was appointed to the World Championship team for the first time, and represented Australia in Nanning, China.
Prior to that, Wan showed promise on both the Australian circuit and the international circuit. In 2012, he scored two medals, including silver on Parallel Bars, in the Austria Future Cup, and helped his team reach third overall in the 2013 Australian Youth Olympic Festival.
Nationally, his best result was in 2014 when, along with the aforementioned All-Apparatus gold, Wan also took out the Vault and High Bar gold medals, as well as silver on Rings and bronze on the Pommel Horse.
In 2015, he made his first appearance in the senior competition, helping Queensland win team gold, and coming a respectable seventh in the All-Around finals.
