Blake Rutherford

A strong junior gymnast, Blake Rutherford broke through for his first senior gold in the 2015 National Championships paired with Jarrod Spear.

The success was Rutherford’s fifth in seven years, after winning three in a row between 2011 and 2013, and finishing sixth in the 2014 Championships at his first Senior attempt.

Rutherford has also posted good results overseas, scoring two third placings in the Indo Pacific Championships in 2010 and 2012 for Double Mini Trampoline, before winning the Trampoline competition in 2014 and placing 16th place for the 2011 World Age Championships in Great Britain  His best performance was at the 2017 World Championships where he placed 8th in the synchronised trampoline event and 25th in the Men's individual trampoline.
