Dominic Clarke

Strong results at junior level means that Dominic Clarke is one of Australia’s rising stars as he makes the move up to senior competition.

Clarke’s first sojourn into national competition (2007) resulted in a second place in Synchronised Trampoline, competing in the U11 category. His star then took off from there.  With what would be four National Synchronised Trampoline titles by the age of 18 it was no suprise that Clarke soon had international results followed.

In 2008, he was sixth in the U13 division of the World Age Championships in Russia. He claimed thirs in U15 at the 2010 Indo-Pacific Championships; Second as a junior at the 2014 Pacific Rim Championships in Canada; and making an early leap to senior, he finished fourth at the 2015 World Championships in Denmark with he Synchronised parther Matthew Weal.

Dominic is not just a star in Synchronised Trampoline but also in Individual Trampoline. Improving at each World Age Championships from 16th in Russia in 2009, to making the finals at both 2013 and 2015 World Age Championships placing an impressive fourth and fifth respectively.

Clarke continues to impress Australia with his talent on the trampoline by being the only Australian gymnasts to bring home two silver and a bronze medal from the 2014 Pacific Rim Championships in Canada. He continues to represent Australia each year at International competition.
