Shaun Swadling

Shaun Swadling was able to make an instant impact after beginning to compete in the senior competition in 2010, finishing fifth on the Trampoline nationally, before a then-personal best 32nd in the 2011 World Championships.

Shaun was a member of the gold winning men’s team at the 2012 Pacific Rim Championships, and also took out the gold medal in the synchronised event with partner Blake Gaudry.

In a very competitive family environment, Shaun trains with older brother Ty, in Newcastle under coach Brett Austine and won bronze in the Synchronised Trampoline competition at the 2014 FIG Minsk World Cup.

Shaun capped off a great 2014 by placing seventh in the world at the 2014 World Championships in Florida, USA, in the Men's Individual Trampoline Final. Along with brother Ty, Shaun also placed sixth in the Men's Synchronised Trampoline Final.

His good form continued in 2015, finishing second in the national Trampoline final but then only to top it at the 2016 National Championships finishing first in synchronised.
