Update from the Gymnastics in Australia Working Group

The Gymnastics in Australia Working Group met face to face in Melbourne on 22nd February. The timing of the Working Group meeting was aligned with the planned meeting of all state and territory Presidents and the GA Board, which provided a platform for transparent discussions with all state and territory Presidents, and the opportunity for all Presidents to understand the progress to date and help inform the future direction of the Working Group.

The Working Group had been considering six potential business model options for Gymnastics in Australia. The February meeting recommended that work continues towards preparing a recommendation of up to 3 preferred governance models in time for the GA AGM in May, and then for broader community consultation to occur thereafter.
