Supervision
Supervision and the Beginner Coach
A Gymnastics Australia Beginner Coach must work under Supervision at all times. The role that the supervisor plays is support and guidance in a gym. The supervisor has overall responsibility for the development and safety of the gymnasts and the Beginner Coach.
Supervision in brief

A Beginner Coach must coach under the supervision of a certified Supervisor at all times.

A certified Supervisor must hold a current GA Intermediate Coach Accreditation or above and successful complete of the Gymnastics Australia Online Supervisor Training course.

It is acceptable for up to three Beginner Coaches to be under the supervision of one supervisor. The Supervisor must be on the gym floor in the proximity of the Beginner Coach(es).

Supervisor Course
A Beginner Coach must coach under the supervision of a certified Supervisor at all times or until an Intermediate Accreditation has been awarded.
