2022-2024 FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics Code of Points Webinar

Thursday 25 November 2021

During the round table that took place at the time of the recent RG World Championships in Kitakyushu (JPN), President Watanabe announced that the FIG would hold an online meeting devoted exclusively to the 2022-2024 Rhythmic Gymnastics Code of Points (CoP). The goal of this webinar is to introduce measures to reduce the number of inquiries and blocked scores in the upcoming cycle, therefore, inspiring more confidence in the judging process.

The final revised version of the RG CoP must be submitted to the Executive Committee (EC) for approval by mid-December 2021. The RG Technical Committee (RG-TC) will host the webinar on Friday, 3 December 2021, at 14:00-17:00 CET.

The RG-TC has created a PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) which summarizes the proposed CoP modifications. Each national federation (NF) is given the opportunity to provide feedback on these proposals in advance of the webinar. The feedback (one per NF only) must be submitted using the official e-mail address of the affiliated NF via the online questionnaire. Responses from other e-mail addresses will be rejected. The PPT can be downloaded by clicking here and the access to the questionnaire by clicking here. The link to download the PPT is also available from the top of the questionnaire.

The deadline to respond to the online questionnaire is Monday, 29 November 2021, 14:00 CET at the very latest. After this deadline, the questionnaire will no longer be accessible.

President Watanabe will open the webinar, then the TC will present the planned edits to the CoP with reference to the written input received from each NF. During the Zoom presentation, any questions will need to be made through the Q&R (chat) feature and will be answered at the end of the webinar presentation.
