Samuel Offord

Sam realised a dream at the 2010 Commonwealth Games as a member of the Australian Mens Team when they won the gold medal for the first time in Commonwealth Games history. Sam also took away the gold medal on rings and finished 5th in the All-Around final in a closely contested competition.

Sam was born and currently resides in South Australia (SA); he took up gymnastics as a 6 year old because he had a lot of energy. He is a member of the South Australian Institute of Sport (SASI) and the South Australian Men's High Performance Program and has established himself as one of Australia'a top All Around gymnasts in recent years. He won the title of Senior Men's All Around title in 2007, 2009 and again in 2010. Sam is coached by his long time coach, Yu Bo at SASI.
