Leanne Van Rensburg

Leanne started her Trampoline career in Auckland, before moving to Castle Hill RSL under the guidance of coaches Belinda Cox and Damian Ryan.

Competing in three apparatus - Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Synchronised Trampoline - Leanne is an all-around competitor with a strong performance history.

In the 15 - 16 age group competition in 2010, Leanne achieved a gold medal for her performance on Double Mini Trampoline at the Indo Pacific Championships. As a Senior, Leanne again competed in the competition in 2014 and achieved fourth place on the apparatus, as well as gold for her performance on Trampoline.

At the 2014 Australian Gymnastics Championships Leanne achieved second on Trampoline, fifth in the Double Mini Trampoline competition and third in the Synchronised competition.

Continuing her ultra-consistent form in 2015, Van Rensburg finished thrid in the Trampoline competition and an outstanding first in the Synchronised Trampoline competition, paired with Abbie Watts. To follow on from this, Leanne returned to the National Championships the next year to only take home the a bronze for Double Mini Trampoline and gold for synchronised trampoline.

Van Rensburg is working towards qualifying for the 2017 Trampoline World Championships later this year in Bulgaria.
