Georgia Rose-Brown has been a mainstay on the Senior National All-Around podium since 2011 and has been amassing significant international experience for just as long, including her first World Championships in 2011 and selection as a travelling reserve for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
A Strong performance at the Nadia Comaneci International Invitational in 2014 – where she finished third overall in the All-Around and first in the Team competition – kicked off a run of consistent international form.
Third place on Uneven Bars at the Pacific Rim Championships followed, which saw Brown selected in the Commonwealth Games team for Glasgow 2014, winning team Silver.
To cap off 2014, she competed in her second World Championships in China, as a member of the Australian team which claimed seventh place in the teams, while finishing 21st herself in the All-Around competition.
With consistent results at a national level, Brown has finished second All-Around on three separate occasions and broke through for her first Apparatus Gold medal’s last year taking first place on both Beam and Floor.
After collecting Bronze medals on Uneven Bars at her last three international competitions, Brown was selected to represent Australia at her second Commonwealth Games in 2018. Brown played a pivotal role in her hometown Commonwealth Games where she won silver on the balance beam, bronze in the Team competition and finished forth overall in the All-Around.
She currently trains at the National Centre of Excellence in Melbourne and is coached by Misha Barabach.
