The coaches stream will focus heavily on a wide range of skill based workshops that aim to equip you with new and innovative strategies to help with your role as a gymnastics coach. All Technical Members are welcome to attend any one of the sessions within each category across the two days.

What to expect
MULTI GYMSPORT WORKSHOPS
Does your club run GfA, WAG and RG? No Problem! Our program has been created to assist coaches in gaining valuable experience across a wide rage of gym sports and levels covering workshops in MAG, WAG, RG, ACR, TUM, GFA and TRP, the coaches conference will provide an opportunity to listen and network with some of NSW’s leading, inspirational speakers. You will obtain new practical tools and theoretical knowledge from a line-up of exciting guest presenters!
The 2020 Professional Development Conference will feature some incredible lectures in our GFA space. If you're looking to spice up your non-competitive classes, learn more about teaching children and seniors or take home some practical KinderGym ideas, then the 2020 Conference has it all!
MAKING THE MOST OF THE OLYMPIC YEAR
Are you ready for the post Olympic explosion? July 2020 will see all eyes on the Olympic Games. This will also introduce a whole new audience to the world of gymnastics, who will then want to get involved themselves. So how can you and your club capitalise on this opportunity? Work through practical marketing campaigns for member engagement, as well as club planning to ensure you and your coaches are ready to welcome all those who want to become the next Simone Biles!
BEYOND THE SKILLS
How can you best support your athletes beyond the apparatus? Learn more about athlete wellbeing, concussion and injury management, how pilates can give your gymnasts that extra edge and effectively dealing with performance anxieties.
KinderGym - The Magic of Music

An ever-growing area of gymnastics, KinderGym is a key place for children to learn, grow and express themselves. We know children learn through movement. Music motivates movement and incorporating into our KinderGym programs, we can foster additional benefits for pre-schoolers. This will be an active session where you will explore the different types of music, rhythm and hand apparatus.
Fitter for life

Fitter for Life is a fun and social opportunity for seniors that aims to help you improve your mobility, strength and coordination; the activities in the program can be catered to your members and their ability. Learn more about this fulfilling program and how you can enhance your current system from Founder of Fitter for life, Doreen Wilson and current GNSW Fitter for Life Officer, Frances Crampton.

As coaches, we are being constantly being challenged to find innovative, yet comprehensive ways to teach our athletes to become ARTISTS within our ever-evolving sports. How do we get them to remain true to our sporting history, while still moving forward? With multiple workshops on dance and choreography, whether you are RG, ACR or WAG, you will get some great tips on how to create routines to make your gymnasts stand out from the crowd!
