What is Performance Gymnastics?

Performance Gymnastics provides groups of gymnasts the opportunity to showcase their gymnastics skills using any style and combination of gymnastics and dance. Skills are artfully arranged with or without music and using any large or hand held apparatus or no equipment at all.  

Where can teams perform? 

Clubs or Teams can perform at club functions, local community events, State  & National events through to International Festivals and Contests.

Festival of Gymnastics

“The showing and sharing of gymnastics through movement”.  Festivals provide the opportunity for teams to travel interstate, nationally and internationally to perform for Fun, Fitness and Friendship.  The Festival of gymnastics is an event where athletes and coaches can celebrate the sport of GFA and perform their skills and talents in front of an audience of their peers and spectators.  Although this is not a competition there are 3 Recognition awards for most entertaining performance.

Adjudicators are invited to provide feedback regarding the team’s performance and provide tips for further performance enhancement.

Gymsport Spectacular

The Gymnastics Spectacular is a biannual theatre show that acknowledges the achievements of Performance clubs in the wider community i.e. Australia's Got Talent, X Factor, Gymnaestrada and other International Events.

The Next Gymsport Spectacular will be held in 2017.  Previous spectaculars included:
